Closed Suction Catheter 72 Hours Type Child Disposable Medical Closed Suction System

The smart design of the Closed Suction Catheters allows simultaneous patient breathing/mechanical ventilation and suctioning.

Push switch and Luer lock design maintains breathing while isolating the turbulent cleaning chamber, preventing spray back and reducing VAP (ventilator-associated pneumonia) risk
Protective sleeve isolates germs to prevent cross infection
Soft blue suction tip reduces mucous membrane damage
"Y" Adapter fits various endotracheal tube sizes (#2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0)
Depth markers ensure proper catheter insertion
Compatible with tracheostomy tubes of varying lengths

Instructions for Use

Setup Procedure

Suctioning Procedure

Caution: Always use recommended vacuum levels and consider suctioning time length.

Grip three-way adaptor with one hand while feeding catheter to required depth (use visible depth markers).
Depress vacuum control valve to begin suctioning at desired position.
Remove catheter until protective sleeve is straight.
Repeat as necessary.
